First time visited to HDL one utama here for my birthday celebration. If you love celebration then you are choosing the right place here! Yes I am too. The HDL staffs are friendly,helpful and responsive. They never let you down when you need them. Of course they works in a team I can said. Team work spirit ON! HDL foods and vegetables are fresh and their soups are yummy!!!!!! (I took 6 types in 2 separate square pot.) Although a lil pricey the food but worth it. The pudding, ice-cream and Ai Yu bing are the merit too. Why HDL I can said they go beyond the hotpot outlets out there. They know well what’s their customer need when dining in. For long hair lady they will gifts a hairband for you. For kids, they can’t sit longer and HDL waiters will bring them special cute toys to make sure they enjoy playing while eating. Besides that, there are snacks and drinks to keep you refresh, books board game to let you kill time while waiting in a long queue too.
Had an amazing dining experience at Hai Di Lao thanks to our fantastic waiter! 刘天运and Daniel were incredibly responsive, cheerful, and attentive throughout the meal. The La Mian performance really cheers us up too. Hehehe. Their exceptional service truly made our visit memorable. Highly appreciated! Will come back often definitely!
Very happy with my dining experience. Thumbs up for Shin Len for making it extraordinary, had a slight disappointment when we queue for an hour and all the meats ran out during my birthday. HDL management team invite us back to celebrate it again together and gave us some 刮刮乐 (we won a side dish and a pouch). Really happy with my dining experience here. *do note dinner time during weekends here is really packed. Please expect to wait some time
This popular hotpot chain from China is renowned for its exceptional service. Compared to the Bangsar branch, this HDL location is much more crowded and feels narrower.
The service level is as good as expected, but I felt rushed to finish our meal here.
We ordered several soup bases: Three Delicacy, Golden Soup with Fish Maw, Mushroom Soup, and Fish Head Soup. All were delicious except for the Fish Head Soup, which was a bit disappointing. The dessert station also offers limited choices at this branch.
The soup base and food quality are decent overall, but the meatballs weren’t to my liking, they were too mushy.
While many similar hotpot places in KL offer ingredients of comparable or even better quality, HDL remains a favorite for its impeccable service.
Another excellent HDL outlet. The standing out services have superseded other aspects, in general. The only shortcoming for this outlet was that the side dish bar had very simple dishes.
