Decent Assam Laksa for a chain outlet. It’s quick and tasty for when you need a simple meal.
Had the curry laksa – nice meal – not too hot, but close enough!
It’s downstairs in the lower level
Decent place to have lunch. They have set lunches that comes with drinks, if not, u can order ala carte. Asam Laksa was alright. Taste not bad but not great. Slightly diluted for me but ok for a quick lunch. Variety of choices like nasi lemak and curry Laksa if u don’t fancy asam laksa. Quite a limited area for seating. The staffs were really busy so the tables were not cleaned up during lunchtime. But when u request, they do it ASAP.
We were hoping to have some ice kacang on this hot day, but as they did not serve it, we decided to go with the coffee and soy drink instead. We were pleasantly surprised, love the drinks. Would definitely recommend!
the asam laksa is very credible for a chain store, if somewhat not quite canonical. the broth is a little short of asam, and the hehkoh is on the side, are the obvious shortcomings. the fish is sardine, which is for my money superior to kembong due to its oilyness.
go with extra fish, and light on the noodles, if that’s your thing.
