Disappointing Experience at [Restaurant Al Diafah Sri Petaling] – Food Quality, Service, and Drinks
I would like to express my disappointment after a very unsatisfactory experience at [Restaurant Al Diafah – Sri Petaling]. I placed my order 7 hours before Iftar, but the service was incredibly slow and disappointing.
The food prices were extremely high, yet the portions were very small. I felt deceived because the reviews seemed promising, but what I received was completely different from what was advertised. Additionally, the pizza I ordered was very hard and difficult to eat, as if it had been left out for too long. The Ice Lemon Tea was also far too sour and undrinkable, making it impossible to enjoy.
When I asked the staff about the delay, their response was unprofessional, and they seemed angry, which did not help resolve the issue. Overall, this restaurant has provided the worst experience I’ve ever had. The food, drinks, and service do not justify the price paid. I will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I hope the management takes this matter seriously and takes steps to improve both the service and food quality so that customers do not feel deceived.

It was the best Middle Eastern food. Of the dishes that I ordered, only some can be finished. I must take away the rest because the portions are big and need a few people to share and eat together.
The appetiser that I ordered is Hummus. It tastes awesome because you have to dip it in the bread. The sauce tastes so unique and addictive, in my opinion. If the bread is not enough for you, you can ask the server to add it for you.
Samosa chicken is also another appetiser dish, it tastes great because the outer layer is crispy and damn, the chicken inside tastes wonderful.
The grill dish is huge on the plate, the royal mixed grill, and it has a variety of flavours, which come with lamb, chicken, and mutton. This dish definitely cannot be finished by one person.
For a fusion dish, I ordered AL Diafah Pizza. It tastes like normal pizza, so I think it is not recommended, but it is still a great dish to share with a gathering table of friends or family.
About the drink, I ordered watermelon juice. It tastes good and is very ordinary. One glass is not enough; order the jug if you have someone to share or drink with.
The environment was great; it was quite a high-class and clean space. But still, great food comes with patience, so you might have to wait sometime, like 10-15 minutes, to get your food on the table.

Big portion. Authentic middle eastern food. A bit pricy but with the portion, i think is ok. For 3 people , we ordered 3 rice and 1 lamb side dish. cost me around rm200+ (if you’re not big eatery, 1 portion is enough for 2-3 people)
Lamb was very tender. Chicken is so-so
My bf loves the food here. Even his family approved the briyani. Taste authentic middle eastern food. Will bring my family next time.
Decoration is very nice. It brings the authenticity.
