Amazing Palestinian restaurant in KL. Food is so tasty and the service was great, super friendly.
Highly recommend the chicken maqlubah, an authentic Palestinian dish, which tastes so good. Eggplant, chicken, chillies and rice.
Also try the chicken shawarma but suggest you ask them to replace the garlic sauce with tahini, to try a more typical type of shawarma you’d get in the Middle East.
Sage tea was something quite unique, worth a try. And their version of tea with milk was interesting, with added spices.
Ohh and the muttabal was the best we’ve had in Malaysia, definetly try it with their freshly baked bread!
Had an amazing Palestinian iftar buffet with my husband here yesterday.
The booking process was very easy and simple through WhatsApp. They have limited pax per day, so make sure you book in advance!
The food? Oh, all are delicious!
I tried Mandi Lamb, Maqluba Chicken, Kofta Tahiniyah, Grilled Fish, Grilled Shrimp for my main dishes. Baba Ganoush, Falafel, and some other appetizers. Cream Kunafa, Muhalabiyah, Harissa. All were superb! It was probably the first time I finished everything on my table in a buffet setting.
I think what stand out for me is the Falafel. Never had that perfect crunchy-on-the-outside and soft-on-the-inside Falafel anywhere else here. It’s similar from what I tasted in Amman (wish I could try one in Palestine!)
And the Maqluba? Wow, sooo delicious!
Great job, Chef and Kitchen Crews! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The staffs were very friendly too.
They made sure our table is clean and that everything is okay.
After we finished eating, they brought us the Cream Kunafa that is fresh from the oven. I was already full but I finished it anyway despite having 2 pieces of Kunafa before. 😆🤤
Before we left, they offered us to take away the coffee.
The only challenge is the limited parking, especially during iftar time. Better come early or use public transport.
Will I be back? Insya Allah!!! 🥰
I think a way I can describe it best that everyone would understand is that it was made with love. It was so tasty my partner picked the rice off of our plates to savour every last bit. Lovely people too, head chef is from Gaza and of course hospitality was amazing, we had some heartfelt conversations. Before we left they gave us balaclava complimentary. Can’t wait to come again. Never felt so happy to eat food! You can really taste the love
What a joy to find this Palestinian restaurant in the Damansara neighborhood. Amongst the row of foodies restaurants.
The Ramadan buffet consist of a large variety of authentic dishes – recipes from the chef’s family in Gaza.
Good attentive service by staff, brightly lit with melodious Arabic music in the background. A good introduction to anyone who is keen to try the authentic cuisine of Middle East.
During Ramadan 10% of the profits is donated to the Palestinian families.
Everything we ordered were GREAT! Delicious food made with love and passion. You can truly feel the heart behind every dish! Definitely will be back for more!
