Came here for dinner with the fam.
Had nasi lemak ayam berempah for RM13.90, loved the sambal (thick, salty, sweet). The rempah was good, chicken not too dry but not the best (still finished it tho). Serving of anchovies and peanuts could be slightly more generous.
I’d say the sambal was the highlight of the dish.
Kaya butter toast was okay, could have more butter and Kaya in it, in my opinion.
Teh tarik wasn’t sweet to my palate, I guess you could say it’s healthier than other places 🤭
Overall pleasant experience. Very cosy environment, clean, and quiet.
Kaya butter toast is not hainanese bread. Regular gardenia bread. Half boil egg has a jelly like yolk but a milk like whites. Very odd. Nasi lemak tak berlemak. So many other better kopitiam food in PJ.
First time dining at this outlet. Ambiance is nice, bright, clean and cold. Staffs were friendly, some foreigners and senior citizens. Food wise is ok. The Mee Siam is served hot and was average. The Cham c kosong ais is nice, well balanced of tea and coffee.
If you leave a google review, you get a piece of nyonya kuih hahaha
Food is alright, but staffs were not that attentive. Very unpractical way to serve the chee cheong fun, the sweet sauce will drip through the steamer basket. It’ll be better that it was served straight on a plate with the sweet sauce and chili sauce on the side straight away.
Nice cozy ambience plus service. Mee Siam is quite good, rojak with it’s crispy keropok is authentic, cucur udang & nasi lemak is fair. Not to leave out the Sardine Puff Pastry is quite yummy too.
