The roti is pretty good, and I really like the curry mutton and potatoes. I’m not sure what herb they used to cook the potatoes, but it’s really special and delicious. The mee mamak is okay—big portion.
It’s a neighbourhood haven. The staff are friendly and service is good.
Both the ghee dosa & rawa dosa were good. The white & red chutneys were also flavourful & a great accompaniment.
The brown sugar apam was well made & simply melted in the mouth.
The fried Maggie & meehoon was also great. Requested both to be spicy & it was!
The drinks – bru coffee, teh tarik & bandung were also good.
Will certainly revisit! Hv been here few times already.
Seating downstairs is convenient, however, it’s noisy. One may also seat upstairs.
The deep fried gourd was rock hard – too tough to be eaten, in fact – we shared this feedback with the waiter and nothing was done about that. Another waiter dripped curry on my clothes – since he didn’t realise it, I alerted him, and he muttered a short sorry and carried on with his day. The staff made no effort to address these concerns even though the restaurant was quiet during lunch hour on a fasting day. Both the food and the service were a disappointment – a far cry from what they used to be!
The food here is excellent. Take your pick. Every dish we ordered tasted really good. The service staff are very accommodating. We came as a group of 6 adults and they were willing to rearrange tables so that we could sit comfortably together.
It’s a family cum neighborhood style restaurant so I would say be prepared for a noisy no frills atmosphere. When we were there the was a couple of tables of families with young children. 😄

Very delighted to dine in here and taste special menu from other mamak.
Recommend
1. Sweet potato today- crispy skin and can taste natural sweetness of sweet potato ,dipped on curry and daol are tasty
2. Banana leaf can choose white or tomato rice, with 3 vege options , free flow curry /daol pour on rice.
3. Fried vege (white cauliflower, bitterguard)not bad, there is other options as well
4. Apom (the best I had try and least sweet of the dipping sauce) it’s skin crispy
5. Special Chicken Kebab cost rm20, but
the white sauce (in sour creamy taste) on grilled chicken (taste like tandori chicken) very perfect.
Will come again for other menu.
Fast on food service
