Pretty solid “western” food restaurant! I like the warm yet bright lighting in the restaurant, very “family and friends” sort of vibe.
The salads were pretty solid, nice flavourful dressing. Portions were all pretty big. Pastas were good, sausages, lamb shoulder chop and salt beef sandwich was good too. Only thing we didn’t quite like was the fish sandwich, pretty thin fish patty that is mostly the crunchy bits outside and not much fish meat.
A surprise! It’s an unassuming restaurant. Ordered a safe bet-grilled chicken chop and Lamb shoulder grill.
Grilled Chicken Chop:
Crispy on the skin and tender inside. And decent portion too!
Grilled Lamb:
At least three pieces of decent size Lamb
shoulder chops. The mashed potatoes with gravy is yummy. The heavy sauce mixed well with the mash. The coleslaw is delicious. There is even the mint sauce as accompaniment.
The atmosphere is unpretentious and simple. The service is prompt.
Overall verdict: I will return with friends to try other dishes.
Brilliant dining venue. Great variety of sausages and other dishes including burgers and sandwiches with ample of sides to choose from. Sausage platter is sufficient for 2-3 pax. All of the types of sausages were tasty and juicy with a high level of flavouring. The ox tail soup was absolutely delicious. Recommended to make a reservation especially on weekends.
I had a great dining experience at this restaurant! The food was surprisingly good, with the sausage platter and lamb shoulder standing out as must-tries. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with flavors that really hit the mark. The portions were generous, making it great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food at a reasonable price!
Food was great. I got the oxtail stew, sausage platter and caesar salad. They do comforting classic flavours and do it well. I can’t name another spot in klang valley that does stews and sausages this well and is halal, at this price range. My only comment would be that the lamb sausage is a little gamey for my taste but I still enjoyed it especially with the mustard. The chicken sausages were the highlight for me.
I also thought the place would be more packed but they only had 4 tables full when i went (8pm, Sunday night).
