Well, heard a lot about it and finally planned a visit, the fan favourite chicken rice will need to order 1 day ahead! So far so good, rice are nice, need to mix with the ginger paste to get that extra fragrance, chicken not over cooked, tender and nice. The rest of the dishes are nice as well, some may said it’s to salty but for me it’s just nice. Parking can be a bit of a problem in the area so you might need to go a few rooms to get the parking. Overall I’m satisfy with it and surely will come back again.
Exceeding Expectations at Chef Chew Kitchen
I came to *Chef Chew Kitchen* for their renowned sweet and sour pork on ice, and my high expectations were not only met but exceeded! The perfect balance of sweetness and sourness, paired with a crispy outer layer, made every bite pure goodness. Another standout was the steam fish – so delicious that all that remained were the bones!
There were plenty of other memorable dishes, but honestly, I’m still too busy savouring the meal to write about them all. This is one place where every dish leaves a lasting impression. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy more!
Everything is very delicious and tasty, worth to try, is better you call to reserved an earlier and their will need you to order foods upon booking. It really speed up the waiting and cooking on the day, just sit down awhile and the food was ready to served.
Really surprised by their sweet and sour pork , is crispy outside and tender inside, covered with ice when served, pork lard claypot rice really taste good and aromatic.
It’s advisable to make reservations in advance, especially for the 6pm dinner slot.
Overall, it’s just very good cooking. The food was good and reasonably priced.
The food was amazing. I didn’t get all the names of the menu items we ordered but what stood out in terms of novelty was the sweet and sour pork served in ice. I thought it would be odd but it turned out to be delicious. I enjoyed the cracking of the sugar coating on each piece. Delicious meal with great company.
If there was one complaint it was the noisy customers.
