Absolutely 5 star gem fine dining restaurant if you want some good authentic Malay food. It’s pricey though. The atmosphere is comfortable and food service was quick too. I liked the different rice combination that you can top up unlimited. All dishes combination go perfectly well with rice. One critics though, the food was brought out on a trolley, just felt the trolley was bit low standard and making noises as they pushed around the restaurant. Would prefer if more staff could carry the dishes or perhaps having a better presentation on the food trolley. After all if you want all fine dining top notch, then these bits and details will need upgrading too.
I had an extremely disappointing experience. The service was absolutely terrible—slow and unprofessional. The staff seemed indifferent, barely acknowledging customers, and getting even the simplest requests took forever. I would have expected a top tier service and feel welcome given the premium price they charged.
One of the staff also took away our chicken rendang when we still haven’t finish it without asking are you done. When I asked him he replied there’s only one small chicken thigh left which mostly bone. I was astounded. Yes the high price charged for a small plate chicken rendang is served with barely there chicken meat.
While the food may have been decent, it was overshadowed by the frustrating and disappointing service. There are plenty of high-end restaurants that actually value their customers—this is not one of them. I saw there’s quite a few review with similar feedback on the service but seems nothing has been improved over time.
One thing that really impressed me was the atmosphere—it’s beautifully designed. We had our annual dinner here, and my company booked a private room, though there was a surcharge for it.
The room itself was stunning, and the food was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was the sauce that came with some dishes—it’s usually on the sweeter side, but I suppose that’s just how it is.
Overall, we had a great time here, and they even have karaoke in the private rooms, which was a nice touch!
The food was amazing! and Hasan helped us with our father in law’s birthday planning😆🎉 Had so much fun with the family and enjoyed all the dishes here. can’t choose a favourite dish because everything is amazing.
Amazing Malaysian food! Fried prawns were huge and come with a very tasty sauce. Ayam percik was very tender and the meat just fall off when you pull it. Cendol exceeded my expectation as it was very flavorful and have the right sweetness. Service was great too. Enjoyed my dining experience here.
