Dropped in this Din Tai Fung for its famous dumpling before the last call to ease someone’s urge of hunger.
To my suprise, even though I could see they start cleaning up but before the last call they still politely served us. We didn’t order much as just wanna eat the famous dumplings thus we ordered some to ease the urge.
The waiting time was short and pretty fast we finished enjoying the snack and happily back to the room after that.
No doubt the standard is there but i still prefer the Taiwan Din Tai Fung at Taipei.
Adios, Din Tai Fung. Will be seeing you next round.
Food: it was good as usual. First time tried the crab meat xiaolongbao, it was ok, personally still prefer the pork xiaolongbao. The mushroom vegetables fried rice was surprisingly good.
Service: the waiting time is very long. We were being told the waiting time is only 30 minutes but we ended up waited for an hour. Not recommended if you are in a hurry. The service was just at an average level which personally found it to be under my expectations.
Atmosphere: it was conducive to have meal.
Vegetarian friendly for certain menu
Their number queue system is effective, once you got the number please wait outside your number will be called soon.
You may fill up your order form while queueing then once u got the table just pass the order form to them.
Food serve fast and hot.
Their vegetarian fried rice is delicious.
Food was great except the chilli fried fish which tasted like nuggets. Service needs to be improved, no one knows what to do after serving or proper way talking to customers. Too many new staffs I guess…
Loved how quick and efficient the service is at this outlet. There was a short queue but me and my friend were able to get seated within 5 minutes. The food was also served fairly quickly.
Pork chop fried rice is good, the 小笼包 as well. But the main highlight was the 辣子鱼片 that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and cooked to absolute perfection.
Definitely the best DTF outlet here!
