It was okay okay. Not too bad but not great.
We paid RM300 for 5 of us for lunch.
Soup based is nice. Pork belly and slice beef is nice, the rest was okay.
Stopping by KL for a break before driving up north, parking is not easy at 1Utama.
The experience during weekday lunch was slow for me. Went unnoticed cause all staffs are very occupied. I can’t even place my order without the qr code. And one of the staffs was really blurr tht day, I assume overwhelmed by work
That aside, for the price and the food amount- it was satisfactory especially if you are using the 15% dine out discount.
Lunch set only has one soup base and you can’t go to the sauce/seasoning area as they will take chili+soy sauce to you

The food is tasty, specially the prawn. They have improved on the dessert selection. Their pickles soup is yummy. Service is fast and friendly served by manager Joey. Seating is comfortable and soft music
We recently visited the Fei Fan at 1 Utama, which isn’t our first time at Fei Fan but just a different location. We noticed that this branch offered more dessert options compared to the one at 163 Retail, including items like herbal jelly, osmanthus jelly, mango jelly, and soya pudding, along with complimentary watermelon. While the variety was better here, the hotpot itself tasted just as good as at other locations.
We opted for the Express Buffet, which was a pleasant surprise since we hadn’t noticed it being advertised at the 163 branch before. The price difference was significant—this time, we spent RM113.20 for two people compared to over RM150 during a previous visit on a Sunday. Weekday rates are RM5 cheaper per person, making the buffet even more affordable.
The 90-minute dining limit for the Express Buffet worked well for us, as we typically finish our meals within an hour. It’s worth considering this option, especially if you don’t eat beef. However, note that the Express Buffet is available at multiple branches, not just 1 Utama.
Overall, Feifan Hotpot remains a reliable choice for a satisfying hotpot experience, with some variations in dessert offerings across locations.
