Fong Lye At 1 Utama has a nice ambiance and relaxing ambiance. The overall service was prompt and staff were helpful.
However, noticed that the pricing for the set meal has increased over the years but the amount of minced pork could be more generous. It would be nice if the rice is served with some green sour veggies. The three cup chicken was on salty side and not very meaty. Hope the management will improve in the portion.
Great experience, good atmosphere and great vibes. Food is decent, though would be nicer if the soup was hotter. Overall, was quite satisfying eating here, price wise is on the higher side.
We were there just for tea and desserts which were decent. The winter melon tea was a bit too sweet. The Lemon Meringue Tart was good though the Tiramisu was nothing wow.
Service is excellent, the staff are friendly, full of smiles and attentive.
The food was decent and the service was fast. The place is nice and comfortable, with relatively generous portions, especially the fish. However, the steamed fish was overcooked, dry, and hard.
Minced pork pie were disappointing too. The skin was a bit thick and hard. Filling not as flavorful compared to other places. However, their potato balls and fried tempura is very good. Also love their Tea smoked Duck noodle set.
They have set meals and ala carte, I got the chicken with scallion set , white chicken served with a lot of scallions and Lou rou rice , side of soup with meatball and fried peanut ball.
Taste is passable but nothing to shout about.
My dining partner ordered smoked duck set with glass noodles . The glass noodles tasteful like some Vietnamese pho .
Milk tea was pleasant but a bit sweet . Suggest you to share it .
What was not so nice was 四神汤, had barley and bits of ginseng . And the soup had sour aftertaste .
