Earing their high tea buffet and its wonderful experience. The spread is huge for the price and it make you dont know what to eat here. They got some good food and also many of spread taste normal not mindblowing. The satay is kinda meh for me.The dessert table is also huge and most delicious for me is their bread pudding. There are better buffet for that price range and its good but not exceed my expectations. The ambience is nice and relaxing.
Had a family gathering buffet dinner at Paya Serai in Hilton. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They were vigilantly clearing the table of used plates and refilling our drinks. The buffet selections were reasonable. Taste were good. The whole place had a good Christmasy feeling.
We ordered 2 set meals, total we paid RM330+. It’s not worth the money to spend here, as no nice view, atmosphere, the money you paid for just because it’s a “high class” restaurant inside PJ Hilton. Anyhow, PJ Hilton is no longer the diamond of the crown in PJ. It’s more wisely to spend the money elsewhere for better food, their set is not double the price of normal Japanese restaurant, but is 4-5 times, not a joke. No doubt the set is quite big portion, but the taste is same as those affordable Japanese restaurant inside the mall. One thing I must say, their sashimi is fresh, bigger slice, thicker slice.
Very pleasant experience! Bought 1 pax at full price of RM75 and get second for RM11 (from 11.11 sales). We basically ordered everything except for the teppanyaki
Pros:
– sashimi and maki were fresh / not soggy
– desserts were good
– tempuras were not oily
Cons:
– service could improve but it was also a rather busy night
We came during CMCO so it wasn’t the usual buffet layout, they gave us a menu and we just chose whatever we wanted from there and it was served to us. Remember to ask for portion sizes!
Seafood choices for Chinese, Malay, western cuisine limited. I thought seafood got oyster but just for CNY only.
The rest of the food taste not bad.
Lamb stew taste nice.
