We came in without a reservation but got a seat pretty quickly. The steak was nicely cooked, you can opt for more salt or pepper since it is not salty on its own – they have pepper and Himalayan salt on the table. The steak already comes with potato salad and some greens, so consider that when ordering. My only qualm with the steak is it is not warm enough – likely cos of air conditioning and normal plate was used or not warmed. First time trying Yorkshire pudding but I did like it, not heavy despite the size. Sweet potato good alternative for those who want a less filling option vs potato. I would still come back again because of the affordability vs the good food you get. Also, service was quite fast. However if you want the fancy ambience that you get in other steak places, maybe consider other locations – Grub is meant for enjoying good food in a casual dining set-up.
Steak was up to my expectations! Really tender juicy well seasoned! It could do with a bit more sear and crust but for the price and portions it was so worth it. It came really quickly too barely 15 mins wait. (Not during busy hours of course) The ramen with beef was also surprisingly satisfying! Noodles were rich and springy, the beef cubes were well done but still tender. Only downside is the salad that came with the steak is a bit lacking in unique flavours, could do with less onions and more citrusy flavour. Overall 9/10 ✨
Fantastic place for a good steak. Our family ordered the King James 1kg sirloin with 4 sides.
Steak was cooked to perfection. The homemade bread is super delicious too.
The staff there is very helpful. Really salute them. They even came out to help my mum who is on the wheelchair get into the restaurant
Enjoyed my first time here and it was nothing short of amazing. I came here for dinner while catching up with my best friends and it’s the best choice.
I love the ambience so much, its just right. Casual enough to relax yet intimate enough to feel special.
The food? Absolutely wholesome and full of flavor! The steak was cooked to perfection, but the real star of the night was the Potato Salad.

Had such a lovely time dining at Grub! The steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Loved the salad, paired really well with the steak and fries were nice and crunchy.
Service was also 10/10, they had seen that we came with a baby so we were offered the private room usually reserved for 10. Made for a quiet and enjoyable experience as baby slept throughout! 💖
