Reached on a rainy weekend evening before buka puasa and it was packed. Had to queue awhile but was pretty quick to get seats for 2 person! Boyfriend had the 2 piece fried chicken set and I had the tender set. If you’re a big eater, the 3 piece tenders are awesome though quite oily but super meaty. Boyfriend is a chicken breast lover so the tenders would’ve been perfect for him. The fried chicken are only available in drumstick and thigh which tasted alright for me.
Wanted to dine in, but long queue. Opted for take away. Just head straight in to the cashier and order for take away only.
They offer only drumsticks and thigh meat. Choose your spicy level.
We ordered “burn baby burn”. True to what it was! Very spicy and chicken was also fried to perfection.
Pleasantly surprised that they place a slice of bread inside to absorb the oil!
I ordered 3 pieces of chicken and a chicken tender, trying the non-spicy, mild, and spicy options. The non-spicy was kind of plain; it’s better to go with the mild for a better taste, even if you’re not a fan of spicy food. Flavor is okay.
The wait time was quite long since they fry the chicken fresh to order. When the chicken arrives, it’s very hot to the touch, with hot oil inside. I would have preferred if the chicken were fried in batches and allowed to rest so the oil could drain and cool down.
Overall, the experience was mediocre, and unfortunately, it was made worse when I discovered mold on the bread after I had already eaten some. I informed the staff, but not much was done. It’s concerning how mold could grow on such a fast-moving product, especially with so many customers coming and going. They should improve the quality of their supplier and service.
Very delicious spicy fried chicken. Juicy, tender meat and crispy spicy skin. Loved the coleslaw and chips as well. No frills fast food dining.
