Eat@J’s Restaurant in Taman Sea is an absolute gem tucked away in a quiet housing area, offering a truly inviting and cosy dining experience. Here’s why I highly recommend this place:
1️⃣ Exceptional Staff: The team at Eat@J’s is incredibly friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable. They’re polite, kind, and always ready to assist, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
2️⃣ Clean & Hygienic: Both the restaurant and kitchen are impeccably clean and well-maintained, which is always a huge plus for me.
3️⃣ Cosy Ambience: The restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and cosy vibe that makes you want to hang around a little longer and relax.
4️⃣ Diverse Menu: The food options are impressive, ranging from breakfast dishes and appetizers/snacks to Asian specialties like claypot meals and nasi lemak varieties, as well as Western options like soup, pasta, and burgers. Beverages include a mix of hot and cold selections to suit everyone’s taste.
Must-Try Dishes: We opted for the chef’s special nasi kerabu, which was perfect for sharing, and the J’s claypot lou shi fun—both dishes were absolutely delightful and full of flavor!
5️⃣ Strategic Location: Nestled within the housing community, the restaurant is easy to find and comes with ample parking space, making it convenient for a relaxing meal out.
In conclusion, I absolutely love Eat@J’s Restaurant! It’s a hidden treasure worth exploring. Highly recommended to anyone looking for delicious Asian cuisine in a cosy setting. I’ll definitely be back!

Relaxing place for a Sunday brunch, with polite and attentive service. Quite an extensive menu, though with some hits and misses. Hits (to us) were the fruit rojak and fish lekor. Miss was the luncheon fries which were slightly soggy. But worth a return visit for the other chef specials – the laksas
The service is great! Cosy environment. The guy service crew is thoughtful, attentive and even offered the option to help mix the nasi kerabu for us. The nasi kerabu portion is really good for two! The plain water is complimentary. Ordered hot ginger lemongrass suggested which taste good. Will recommend to call to reserve a table if you’re coming in a big group.
Pls remove the Fish & Chips from your menu. The fish was dry n hard (texture like chicken), skin was soggy even though it was served piping hot.
Perhaps I ordered the wrong dish.
Not sure if I’ll come back again
Update (25 May, 2024): Thanks to the owner for the response. I sure will ask for it in my next visit. Cheers.
18 May, 2024: One of those things – been here numerous times, always wanted to do a review, but only managing to do it after the… I think fifth visit? Anyway, the food. First off, I am not a ‘nasi kerabu’ fan so I can’t comment on that. The curry noodles that many reviewers raved about, I found it a little lacking. Taste-wise was good, but I prefer my broth a little heavier (creamier) and thicker. Now, what we loved – too numerous to list but everything on the Asian list is just faultless. Bear in mind, this place does not serve pork nor use pork lard. So a lot of efforts have gone in to make the dishes taste this good – Penang Asam Laksa, Char Kueh Teow, Claypot Rice Noodles, Tomato Noodle, Singapore Fried Meehoon (the last two being my favourites) were superb. Then came the fruit rojak, chicken popcorn, chips and chicken luncheon fries – the latter again another surprise as it tasted almost as good as real pork luncheon fries! The chicken chop we had was also good.
Service was splendid – every single visit – friendly, courteous and mindful. Granted, nothing is perfect, and that includes the menu items but, as a total dining experience, this place is an easy five stars.
