Superb environment, amazing view, wonderful atmosphere, great service!
Most of all, the Spanish and Indian fusion food is really very yummy 😋 I love their specialty crafted cocktails too!
Celebrating my Chinese New Year with fantastic food experience here!
All the food was great, but the chicken wings really surprised us. No wonder they were highly recommended by the waitress when I asked for suggestions. They had a fusion taste, not your usual chicken wings.
The service was superb. Thanks also for the free dessert for the birthday girl.
Churros – They lacked crispness and weren’t airy on the inside, but they weren’t bad if you don’t have high expectations.
Paella – The rice texture was on the soft side, and it tasted slightly bland. However, it was served hot and had a good amount of seafood.
Escargot – Personally, I prefer escargot served with the shell.
Pizza – It had a good amount of cheese.
Overall, it was a great place for dining. I will definitely return to try their Indian fusion dishes.
Warm & cozy place for chilling and fine dining for families and hangouts. The top sky view is open upon request with live band. Ordered Negres, Paella Pollo & Champignone, Aglio Olio prawns, Gambas al Ajillo & Fried Calamari. Meal experience was superbly scrumptious with attentive staff wont hesitate to repeat it again next time
First time here after they’ve renovated. It’s no longer a fully Spanish tapas bistro diner but more of a fusion of Spanish, Indian and Italian kind of place. Abit of a change but in another way, a new experience I guess.
Parking. Only for the patient (esp during meal hours). Alternatively, the building beside them (Conlay?) offers space but not all the time (have to check with them, something about the timing etc).
Food. Variety is as many as their before, but whatever we order came out great. We were 1 of the 3-4 occupied table so food came out pretty quick (except the forewarned paella which still came out faster than their, iirc, 30min request). We ordered gratinated eggplant, mariscos paella, churos, lamb biryani with rice, BBQ chicken pizza, tandoori chicken tikka, chicken wing, and another item I forgot, thanks to the wine or margarita or sangria, I forgot. Taste wise, nothing disappointed us, 3 fussy kids included.
Ambience. Much nicer, better lighting, and spacious even between each tables. 2 entrances into the diner, interesting. Indoor is cool and cosy, outdoor has some ‘view’ and plenty of fan. Rain still hits those sitting at the end (furthest from door). Safety glass quite high so ‘relatively’ safe for kids 🤞🏻. There’s also a private closed section suitable for function, able to comfortably seat 40-50 pax (maybe more) via booth shaped seating/table in a u-shaped arrangement. Iirc as per staff advise, possible to arrange for screen (karaoke, movie, etc) within said room.
Staff and service. Good and good. They’re around, not hovering. They’re helpful, while not intrusive. They’re friendly and knowledgeable, and not clueless and arrogant.
This review is given by me (regular dad), 1 awesome wife (she’s nearby) and 3 fussy kids upon their insistence. Nonetheless, you guys deserve it, salud!
We enjoyed the food and ambience here. Probably the only roof top restaurant at Taipan. The managers Akshay and Sopan are friendly has always been attentive to our request. Been here many times – highly recommend ✨
