Service That Deserves a Standing Ovation!
A restaurant can have the best menu in the world, but it’s the people who make it memorable—and the team here absolutely shines! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
A special shoutout to Ah Ting, who went above and beyond. Even though we accidentally stayed past closing time (oops!), there was no rushing, no side-eye—just pure kindness and patience. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated!
If you value amazing service, this is the kind of place that will keep you coming back. Huge thanks to the team for making our visit such a great one!
Nice cozy place in a stretch of shops and restaurants called “The Row Kuala Lumpur”.
But it has the Michelin Guide Award 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Went early on a Wed working day at opening time 11.30 am and is the very first customer.
Ordered the daily available menu item of Nyonya Laksa and the one item that is described by all including Michellin Guide as their most famous.
Yes, it is truly authentic, flavourful and great.
Soup has all the right fragrance, taste, and aroma.
Also ordered for dessert, Sago Gula Melaka. And they are very generous with the Gula Melaka (natural palm sugar).
The shop is well adorned with memorable items.
And pictures of the Nyonya Uncle who has the recipe for all the nyonya food sold in the shop.
Fascinating. By 12 noon, the shop filled up very quickly.
The Nyonya laksa has a rich coconut milk gravy, spices, and herbs. The homemade satay comes with a flavorful peanut gravy.
Portions are small, friendly staff.

Visited for dinner on Saturday night in February 2025: We ordered Nyonya Laksa and Nyonya Curry, both were delicious, and freshly prepared. Our neighbor‘s table ordered sate and some veggies which looked yummy too. We didn’t have anymore space to try the desserts, so next time…
We had a table outside; the place and most restaurants on this road have a nice and cosy outdoor seating areas separated from the road. Also indoor seating looks cosy. Last but not least very attentive and helpful staff! We had a quick chat with one of owners, very kind person, and they just opened a second restaurant.
Many thanks for the hospitality! We will be back and will recommend the place to guests while visiting KL.
