The atmosphere is lovely and chill in the night. Quiet and cozy, with contemporary jazz playing in the background. There’s an unobstructed view of the KL Tower and in the distance, the KLCC peeks out beyond the skyscrappers.
Got the Rose, Rose, I Love You cocktail – nice and large, and delicious to sip throughout the night. Got the mantao too, but wish it had more meat, considering the bar is named, well, Man Tao. Complementary muruku (local chips) and peanuts seals the deal. Prices on the menu are all in (no need to crack your head over how much tax to add), as are good KL bars in general.
Man Tao’s layout has always been generously spaced-out tables, so you can come without worrying too much about cramping it out!
Great to spend a late quiet night – quieter on the weekdays, but not too noisy on the weekends too. Chill vibes all around!

Most of people come just for picture and don’t drink anything . They can have a beer or cheap glass . It’s my point of view. Nice place good gin tonic cocktail. Pool closed at night I thinking . But view is free and pretty nice
Been here many years ago… Now with a return, found the bar is still serving with stunning view of KL Tower. Amazing nite after a downpour.
Amazing bar situated at the top floor of the Stripes Autograph collection, serving yakitoris and drinks with a great view and pool.
We tried the yakitoris and they tasted great. It’s basically skewers in a bun, a very neat concept. Quite a few empty seats when we arrived. If you are a Marriott Platinum+, you also get to try out the yakitoris and drinks for free daily at 5pm to 7pm. In addition, the bar and the surroundings look even better at night with live music.
Highly recommended if you are around the area and staying in this hotel!
Rooftop bar in the nostalgic of town with a good view of KL Tower. Place is besides the pool and staff are friendly and helpful.
Somehow lacking the chill vibe one would expect of a rooftop bar. A good place for a decent drink and chat.
