Food was good here! Had a team lunch here and everything we ordered was good. We came on a Monday and they had a promotion of ordering small paella – 2 glasses of sangria will be on the house. If you order the big one, a jug will be given.
Rather quiet during lunchtime on Monday.
My favourite was the potatoes with sour cream (i think) on top. It was tangy, crispy and flavorful and soft on the inside. The paella was also very flavorful and despite it looking a tad small, it was filling. Will return!
Celebrated my birthday here. Located just outside the 1Mont Kiara mall – provides both alfresco and indoor seating.
Well appointed restaurant, good and attentive service.
But the food is why you should come here. Taste wise, delicious, especially the paella! Tapas and the grilled octopus were scrumptious too.
We came in greeted by friendly staff. I wish we were seated inside (outdoor seating was dim lighted), but no more complaint once we tasted the food 👍🏻 Paella was flavourful and all the seafood was cooked to perfection. The Iberico Fardos wowed me, love the layering of flavors from truffle cream, ham to the apple compote. Padron pepper was fragrant and seasoned well (I would love it more if it was crispier). Overall wonderful dining experience!
One of the best Spanish restaurants in KL by far. Nice atmosphere and everything we ordered today is very delicious, price is also reasonable. Have many choice of wine too. Staffs are attentive, great service.
My go-to for Spanish Cuisine. The vibes, the food quality is honestly top notch. Personal goal for this year would be to try out all the tapas in house. We tried out a few this time, and they were all so delicious.
Fardos Ibéricos – bite sized Ibéricos ham fardos with truffle cream and apple compote. I’ll never say no to Ibéricos ham as it just melt in the mouth. Apple compote works so well with it, giving the sweet salty taste.
Patatas Bravas – The fried potatoes with bravas allioli sauce is such a great surprise for me. The potatoes is crispy on the outside, warm on the inside. When you bite into it, the sauce just burst out with so much flavor. While I personally don’t always fancy deep fried food, but this Patatas Bravas Just kept me going.
Pork belly Bao – It is super cute to see a bao/bagel looking tapas. The pork belly is very juicy, quite fatty, and balanced well with green apple and pickle. The crunchy texture is a big win. This is Shawn’s no. 1 pick for the day.
For main, we had the Arroz Negro. Black rice paella with cuttlefish, prawns, squid ink and all i oli sauce. The sauce is very creamy, good pairing with the paella. I possibly indulged too much with the patatas bravas though, the sauce was a tad too rich for me. Very generous portion of seafood, and the seafood is cooked to perfection.
And don’t leave a Spanish restaurant without trying out the Sangria. Or should I say, always start the meal with Sangria.
