I was searching for a Jotun exterior paint tester and initially went to Mr. Paint in Taman Midah, where I experienced bad service. I then decided to visit another branch in Kelana Jaya (which I had visited before). The staff members there are very friendly and accommodating. They provide both interior and exterior color testers and allow customers to take as many as needed. Although the color I wanted was out of stock, I inquired about how to obtain it, and the staff patiently answered my questions and offered numerous helpful suggestions.
Lots of paint options from brands to colours. Sales staff quite helpful, but could maybe offer more advice to customers on the paint options. Parking is available right in front of the shop so no worries about lugging big tins of paint from the shop to your car
The service attitude is extremely poor👎. Even when there are few customers, the staff and the boss are still engrossed in their phones and computers, completely ignoring the customers. There’s no parking space, so customers have to unload goods themselves while the staff remains indifferent.
This has been the worst experience ever. The shop asked me to scrape the paint off the wall and bring it to them, which I did. However, when I presented the paint, they provided a completely different color. When I called the shop, they repeatedly claimed that this is the color I had accepted. Come on, if you’re the professionals, you should be the ones to determine which color matches the sample I presented. Naturally, they refused to provide a refund or make any changes.
Dropped by today to enquire on rusted metal fence. Fantastic service provided by a nice young chap, Bryan. Provided the information I needed from what is required pre painting to painting the fence itself. Have not bought the paint and primer(undercoat) yet, but definitely will go back to the shop once to purchase the paint once the fence is “cleaned”.
Price also seems competitive from quick googling.
