Breakfast at Murni Discovery was a delightful experience. I opted for the English Breakfast paired with a refreshing Thai Green Tea, and it truly set the perfect tone for the morning. The rich flavors of the breakfast, combined with the smooth, slightly sweet taste of the tea, made for a satisfying meal.
The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, creating a comfortable and cozy dining experience. What made it even better was its convenient location—just a short walk from Qlic Hotel, making it an easy and accessible spot for a good meal.
Considering the quality and portion size, the pricing was very reasonable. The Thai Green Tea, for instance, was only RM7.80, which is quite affordable for such a flavorful drink. Overall, it was a great breakfast spot that I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tasty and budget-friendly morning meal.
Usual great food at murni! Their menu is always the most exciting among the mamak stores!
It’s been years since we came to this restaurant. They used to sell nasi campur, with super delicious dishes. Was a bit dissapointed that this has been converted to the new Murni. Portions are big. Ordered the Ecuador Nasi Goreng. Comes with this beef dish & fries. Nasi goreng is meh and tasteless but that’s because the beef and the gravy is super salty. Then there’s the Nasi Goreng Lord of the Wings. Comes with 5,6 crispy chicken wings which are dry. The fried rice has added seafood however quite tasteless. This is a place where you come to be full. If you’re looking for taste go elsewhere. You can’t make up taste with portion size.
I’m originally from Penang and came to Petaling Jaya for work. I dined at this restaurant for dinner and was truly impressed. The prices are surprisingly affordable (since the location in Klang Valley), especially given the generous portions. While taste is subjective, I found the flavors during my visit to be exceptional.
It’s the Murni experience, extremely chaotic, fast but delicious. If it’s your first time here, don’t be surprised if you take well over 10 minutes to go through their expansive menu. They have such a wide selection food, I don’t even know how the chef can keep up. I ended up getting the chicken chop + aglio olio. The food came very fast, so fast in fact that our drinks only arrived 10 minutes after the food did! The chicken was good and the pasta was just alright, very peppery. The ribena drink was delicious but definitely sinful. A really nice place for supper.
