Went to eat nasi lemak this certain kedai after hearing a lot about it but it was closed after Iftar. Since there are so many small shops for food and snacks then eventually end up on asking for recommendations for best delicious nasi lemak and got here at this shop no 23. Ate their for late night dinner and take away some for sahur cuz it was unexpectedly yummy. Plenty of parking at the backside and closed ceiling but open for both end with good ventilation. Definitely coming again.
Ah, Nasi Lemak Panas 223 – a treasure trove of flavors nestled within the heart of a bustling food haven. Here, the aroma of freshly cooked nasi lemak mingles with the morning air, enticing even the weariest soul to pause and savor a taste of Malaysia’s beloved comfort food. Each spoonful is a delight, as the rice, warm and fragrant, pairs seamlessly with the sambal – a careful balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy that stirs the senses awake.
And then, there is the ayam goreng – crispy on the outside, tender within, each bite a reminder of the simple joys of a well-prepared meal. The taste here is honest, unpretentious, yet deeply satisfying. One feels the dedication in every element of the plate, crafted not with grandeur but with genuine care.
The staff, too, mirror the warmth of the place, serving with a smile that feels genuine and true. They are ever-helpful, eager to ensure that each visitor leaves content and comforted. Amidst the liveliness of the many stalls surrounding it, Nasi Lemak Panas 223 stands out not merely for its food, but for the experience it offers – a glimpse into a cherished Malaysian tradition.
One of the finest Nasi Lemak experiences I’ve had. The restaurant remains open until 1:30 AM, ensuring that you can enjoy freshly prepared, piping hot Nasi Lemak even late into the night. The beef, in particular, is exceptional, rich in flavor and cooked to perfection.
Ordered via Grabfood. After clarification with the rider, the shop turned out forgetting to put the sambal in the nasi lemak. Luckily I was able to get a refund from Grab but seriously, nasi lemak with no sambal are you kidding me? Also I realised the shop is downgrading lately…
Nasi Lemak Paru was delicious with good portions. The paru is still crispy and the rice is fragrant. Their sambal however was sweet and spicy. People who have low tolerance for spicy foods may find it spicy.
Unrelated to this shop, but this Medan selera is quite hot and stuffy during the day.
