Other Businesses
Ours 1st choice was Grand Imperial, but there open 18:00pm today 😭. After few calling , get Oriental accept ours table reserved.
Busy day , full table all the times, but waitress & captain done their perfect jobs, good serving and organising.
Dim-sum a bit less option , but tasty . Personal taste we didn’t like the Egg-tarts , coz it taste like custard not egg.
Other foods ‘ desserts in standard .
Spacious, elegant, and always buzzing, Oriental Pavilion PJ33 is a go-to for dim sum lovers in PJ. Specializing in fine Cantonese cuisine with a modern touch, it’s no surprise that their dim sum is an all-time favorite … simply flavorful & delicious.
Despite the crowd, service was attentive and efficient, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Perfect for family feasts or business lunches. Come hungry 😋 … reservations highly recommended.
Lotsa parking in the mall itself.
After so many years oriental pavilion has kept their standards and service. The food cooked and prepared very well almost every time I’m here. So for celebrations, or bigger events, I would recommend this.
Dim Sum is generally very good here too except for public holidays as it will be too packed and quality may vary.
Recommendations:
Lunch/dinner: Hokkien mee, steam fish with soy sauce, braised eggplant, stir fry watercress with shrimp paste, smoked chicken, fish maw soup
Dim sum: cheong fun with fried shrimp, typhoon deep fried carrot cake, egg tart, shrimp roll, char siu bao, etc.
Great atmosphere. Clean and spacious. Staffs are friendly. Dim sum here is very nice. Located inside a shopping mall, parking here is easy. Chinese tea here is good quality. Price is on a higher side but it’s worth the environment and quality of food. Highly recommended.
Overall: Oriental Pavilion is a great place for dim sum and authentic Cantonese cuisine with a classy feel.
Their dim sum cart is impressive, the bamboo steamers filled up with a variety of tasty dim sum.
The Peking duck is a must-try. I love it when they served with the flour skin instead of the egg skin.
The dry/ fried item, like egg tarts and sesame balls, as well as the desserts like lemongrass jelly or the sai mai lo are a delicious way to end the meal with just the right amount of sweetness.
Overall, Oriental Pavilion is ideal for anyone looking for quality dim sum/meal in a nice, elegant setting.
