Despite staying in Kelana Jaya for many years, this is my first time dining here. Service is extremely extremely fast. All the food came within 5 minutes. The Ayam Penyet was decent, although the chicken was small-ish and the Sambal was not spicy at all. The “famous” Asam Pedas was also very average. I was expecting more punch (sourness and spiciness). The Sambal Petai Sotong was not bad either, flavourful and lots of petai. Overall it was a great meal and I’ll probably be back to try other dishes in the future such as the Masak Lemak.
Alhamdulillah ♥️ Found this restaurant in google! The food was amazinggggg!!! Ordered asam pedas ayam, shellout sambal – consist of half ikan siakap, kerang, lala, one big ketam, sotong and udanggg and the beware the gravy spicy and yummy. Taste like spicy curry (for 2 people but can eat 3 people) and sotong bakar and sambal petai sotonggg! Not disappointed at all! Keep up the good work gaiss!!
The Ayam Penyet is crunchy, the free soup taste like soup soto ayam. Delicious! It was recommended by waiter.
Lai chi kang ICE is highly recommended by waiter there. It contains peanut, cincai, chia seed, etc.
Kerang bakar berempah…hmmm..”so so” only because the rempah is not spicy, not sweet, not sour, not salty.🤣 inside kerang still have sand, so I didn’t finish it. But, is cheap! So I won’t complain la~
My colleague ordered ayam bakar. Taste good too.
Together with her Teh Tarik, whole bill is around RM41.
Waiter is Indonesian. Not sure whether is chef or owner.🤣
But, if u like Indon food, why not give it a try?
The foods here is super delicious, really love their masak lemak cili api and masak sambal. Ordered shell out seafoods masak lemak cili api, it was so so satisfying and delicious. Also like their ayam berlada, it was spicy and good. Highly recommended if you are looking for some good malay foods around kelana jaya.
Malay fast food at its best! Ordered 4 dishes with rice…the food arrived within 10 mins! BTW, the restaurant was packed… And the food’s very tasty too. Will be back to try their seafood specialty ‘Shell Out’
