Variety of food and most of them quite delicious. I tried the soy sauce chicken. Not my type of food , bit salty for me but my husband loves it. The bak kut teh and Indian food are delicious. Bak kut teh for RM15 is worth the price. No need to go klang for BKT. Indian food one big packet for RM10. I think could feed 3 people. Give them a try.
Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered a few varieties for takeaway. The yong tau fu taste ordinary , further marred by the fried brinjal, which is too ‘burnt’. The popiah has not much ‘leu’ in it, thus not flavourful. I ordered the 3 combination chicken rice at Rm13, which I think is on the high side because the rice is not fragrant , and amount of meat is small. And the fried ginger onion beef noodle is a disappointment- no wok hei and tastes very bland. Finally the dumpling wan tan mee is nothing to shout about also. In conclusion- no second visit.
old timey food court. sustained excellence over the years. the anchor offerings are the ceylonese BLR and the hakka YTF; respective managed by an auntie and a pair of sisters.
cantonese soul is also available right next door. the grouper is really good. the yee mee a notch below, being too heavy on the ginger.
the BLR IS is outstanding, with the curries threading the gap between flavour and fire.
ditto rojak and stuffed taufu. the hehkoh in the latter is particularly well calibrated, and the taufu shell itself both toothsome and tasty.
A friend recommended this place for lunch. We had a mix of meals from different stalls. Recommend a visit for food lovers. Loved the cendol and my friend says the ice kacang is even better.
