Generally enjoyed what we had, except for the rocket salad. The pastas that we ordered were good. Did not order any pizza but most tables did and they looked good. Above average pricing but expected considering the location. Service could be friendlier. Would like to return to try the pizzas and other items.
Came here for dinner during New Year’s eve. Staff was very good in recommendation which was well balanced with vegetable options and seafood based on our request. Food is good and reasonably priced in our opinion.
Good overall taste, fresh ingredients, friendly service, comfy environment. Some very high quality food, some to bring back to drawing board. Still an enjoyable dinner. Ideally, I’ll rate 7/10.
Visited the restaurant on Monday around 7pm and it was relatively quiet, with only four tables occupied throughout the evening.
The food was good but pricey. The total came to around RM140 per person, without including alcohol or wine. We particularly enjoyed the Pizza Promod Oro (RM59), which was nicely baked. The dough was fragrant and had the perfect balance—not overly cheesy and served at the ideal temperature. The Tiramisu (RM25) was also good, with a nice hint of aromatic alcohol.
Ronnie is an excellent manager. He is attentive and also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He makes thoughtful recommendations that enhanced our meal, showcasing a deep understanding of both the food and wine pairings. Throughout the evening, he ensured that everything was running smoothly, checking in with us and guarantee satisfaction.
Overall, Promo Dor is a gem for nice Italian food. I can’t wait to return and enjoy another fantastic meal!
