I patronised your outlet before it was good , but unfortunately last night dining experience was disappointed . There’s lots hit and missed.
1) japchae noodle was overcooked , too soft, gooey & sticky , black fungus not fresh , the dish lack of flavoured
2) bachan kimchi was overcooked fermented or kept for too long , extremely sourish.
3) bbq pork belly was chewy n tough n bit undercooked
4) cheese omelette was tasty and good
5) bibibamp cant find rice charred at the bottom of stone bowl , combination of condiments was nice
6) kimchi pancake , it was the most horrible kimchi pancake I ever had in life , we can’t even take second slice . It was bitter and very sourish, after I feedback to one of the staff , still arguing with me it was kimchi fermented etc , yes, I knew it was kimchi , I had kimchi pancake at other Korean restaurants before , at least I knew what’s decent kimchi pancake taste like , I feedback just want to let you know and please inform your chef to check and take note , not to argue with me.
Albeit service was attentive but the food wasn’t make it up for the night after a good 30 mins of waiting .
In a sea of Korean bbq in Malaysia, QingHeGu stands out from it with the their delicious food and service.
The staff here will grill the meat you’ve ordered. Wonderful service and attentive to your needs.
Delicious Korean BBQ!
Our waiter Goljar was the best. He asked us how we would like our meat cooked, was attentive and kept refilling our side dishes, and took special care to ensure we were kept away from the hot plates whenever swapping. He made sure we had everything we needed, but didn’t hover, which was perfect as we wanted to chat and enjoy each other’s company.
The food itself was pretty good, the cuts of meat thick and juicy, cooked to the right done-ness. The only downside was the free steamed egg was a little bit burnt in the center so we didn’t finish it. We didn’t complain about it upfront because it came as part of the set, and to be honest, there was so much other food to eat. We ordered the 3-meat set for 4 people and a kimchi pancake.
When they were cooking in front of us, it was really hot from the fire, which is to be expected. I wonder if the side tables have less ventilation than the ones in the middle of the restaurant?
Overall, I would definitely recommend going there again and props to Goljar for his cooking expertise. Service is top notch.
Delicious meal with free flow of ice cream. They have a big private room that can accommodate 30 pax. The staff are very attentive.

Probably one of the better KBBQ spots I’ve tried in a while. It was my first time trying the rice balls, and they were delicious. The meat was well-marinated and perfectly cooked.
The side dishes were average, it’s a pity we don’t see many restaurants serving myeolchi bokkeum as a side dish nowadays. However, the good food, and free-flow dessert made up for it.
It’s slightly on the pricier side, but the quality of food and service was a pleasant surprise. The staff were fast and efficient, and the owner was very friendly.
I would return! 🙂
