Honestly, the whole dining experience in your restaurant, I would rate as below par. Wonder how the outlet received gourmet and tourism award. We ordered 5+1 curry puff, prawn & egg cheong fun, fried rice salted chicken chop and pan mee soup. Food is mediocre and nothing to shout about. Taste of food needs to improve a lot. Curry Puff served was extremely and too hot to eat especially the filling. So hot that we cannot even hold it and had to leave it to
cool. My friend’s hand and skin was scalded/ burnt red due to the over hot curry puff. Good thing we did not have any children with us. A terrible accident would have happened if children held and ate the extremely hot curry puff and filling. No credit card promotions as compared to many of your competitors. 3 staff crowding the hostess stand and more interested in chit chatting and facing outside of the restaurant than taking care of the customers. Your promotion for new customer only apply to 4-6pm, we came after 6pm and not allowed to use.I will not come again unless your service and food improves. I also also do not recommend people to come.
The food tasted nice. I like the nasi lemak ayam goreng, the fried chicken was good, the sambal was too little, lucky for me they gave some top up.
RM25.80
The mala mee tarik was also good, I like the spices. RM19.80
Nasi goreng with salted chicken chop was also OK. RM19.80
Kopi was so so. RM5.50, teh halia and milo was RM6.80 each.
Taste and portion were OK, however the pricing was a little high for what I got. RM98 for 3 pax.
Food was overpriced for its quality. The dimsum looked like frozen type and fried upon order. We came as a party as 3 pax and were initially given a very small table for 2 until we requested a bigger table. Table was also dirty and not wiped. The noodle did not look like the menu but taste wise is nice. Pickled chilli is nice. Fried salad prawn dimsum was a disappointment. Usually salad prawn dimsum is packed and filled with whole prawns (commonly sold around RM9 for 3 pcs in good dimsum restaurants) but here it was all filler with a small bit of prawn in each of the dumplings. The skin were oily too. At RM16 for 3 pcs with such quality, I think it’s seriously overpriced.
I came to OU with my dad and son because we wanted to try some Chinese street food. Unfortunately, it was raining and there were puddles everywhere, so I was soaked sebab hujan. Then dad said lets go to Santai for dinner instead. The food here was great, i ordered Mala noodles something. The bowl was full of noodles, of course, and soup and also packed of coriander seeds. I chewed countless seeds, and Im telling you my mouth and lips feel numb for a few minutes.
The custard pao was yummy and not too sweet.
Iced coffee so pekat but not too creamy. I like dumpling and half boiled eggs so sedap with the soy sauce.
