I was in the PJ area looking for a place to eat when I came across this shop on Google Maps, so I decided to give it a try. I wanted to order chicken and beef satay, but the beef was sold out, so I went with chicken and lamb instead.
Honestly, I couldn’t believe a mamak restaurant could serve satay this good! The marinade was perfect, flavorful all the way through, and the peanut sauce was thick and delicious. Plus, the satay sticks were clean! I’ve been to other places where the sticks were oily and dirty. They also gave a generous amount of peanut sauce.
For 10 sticks of chicken satay and 10 sticks of lamb satay, it was only RM27—super affordable! The service was great too.
The atmosphere isn’t exactly 5-star—it’s just the usual mamak vibe, which is totally expected. But that doesn’t matter because I’ll definitely be coming back again, inshaAllah!
Excellent satay. A small stall running out of the coffeeshop.
The coffeeshop itself had good prata which we tried the next morning. Coffeeshop staff could use more training though, got our orders wrong.
One of the best satay stalls in Klang Valley. It is located together with the Mamak stall. The satay is very cheap, you have to remember that here is PJ. A lamb satay is only RM1.50, and chicken is RM1.20. The meat is big size. The meat is cooked just right, soft and not too hard, and the fat is just right. The satay sauce is also delicious.
Delicious! All their variants of meat are well marinated, fresh and tender. Each stick has a generous portion and is well worth the price. I felt full after eating 15 – 20 sticks. I appreciate the clean and alluring presentation. The boss feels very down to earth and offers reasonably quick service. Well done, Satay Zubir!
Cheap, tender and delicious satay. Lots of spices in the meat means it’s so good you can even eat it on it’s own. Options for chicken, beef and mutton. Starts from RM1 for the chicken satay. It’s as good as Satay Willys in Kajang. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good satay in PJ 😋😋😋😋😋
