Air barlı with roti canai is my favourite menu if come here during breakfast. There’s more menu breakfast actually I should try later..
Nasi ayam penyet so yummy. Ayam besarrrr confirm puas makan. Sate dia pun sedap ! Lembut betul daging and rasa Dia punya perapan tu. Worth it with the price.
Btw I’m a regular customer here. So I very recommend u guys to come. Don’t worry the stall have air-cond inside. And you can also sit outside if you like udara luar 😆
Love their mee kari here. Generous portion and very tasty – totally worth it for the price.
I know it’s called Sate Hut and tbh the sate (and kuah) is decent. Go for perut!
Anyways they have loads of other options here, which is great if sate’s not the only thing you wanna eat. According to the banners they start operating quite early so that’s a plus point. The inside seating has ac.
Granted it’s Ramadan month, but the staff wanted us to sit indoors to avoid trouble. We aren’t local, so we didn’t know why this was the case. It was a very sad lunch. The sate was not bad, but don’t order anything else. I was waiting for a while and it smelled a bit off.
I think it’s a new owner takeover. Recently renovated. Much more relaxed and casual ambiance. Satay marination newly improved than before. New menu added. Price reasonable. Recommend trying the satay here. Beef satay is tender. The kuah kadang is delicious 😋
After visiting tasik near by, my family wanted to maximize to enjoy the Kelana jaya neighborhood that has to offer, so we searched the satay restaurant since my little 6 year old is crazy of the Malay satay with the kacang sauce. So I found surprisingly high ratings sate hut, near by giant hypermarket, where we parked our car for the grocery anyway.
I’m not sure why some of the reviews says its lean meat, that’s totally WRONG! Its rather opposite, the beef and mutton sate are pretty chunky in looking, however, there is a huge chunk of the pure fat is put right in the middle, disguising its meat, but once you take s close look, its pure wobbly and jellish fat, that’s inedible to just eat as a form of fat, not even slight attached meat, meat is just one top and the bottom only. Basically 1 third of the sate stick is all wasted. After we weren’t content to feel our tummy slightly enough, we ordered the second plate consisting of chicken and mutton. So all in all, we spent nearly rm 50, which seems not worthy it.
The problem is when asked the staff upon ordering, whether it has lots of fat or not, he said no fat, but it turned out way too fatty to our liking. The sate sauce tasted quite good, just thick enough, can tell peanuts pieces mingled inside my mouth that’s I loved the most. It would have been nice if some chili flakes have been served in a separate bowl.
Perhaps those who like fatty sate should be just ok, otherwise its definitely a big no!
The staff is all kind and attentive, but the sate quality is very poorly made with too much of inedible fat chunks.
We won’t go again!
