Legit, authentic Padang Satay. Sedap. Price very reasonable, 1 RM per pcs. I tried mix, beef and chicken, both taste great. Really comforting food especially during rainy night.
Bear in mind this is warung, not resto. Parking will be difficult as you need to park on the side of the road, and it’s a busy road.
Value for money. Affordable price. Satay minang sauce are thick and tasting & the portion for chicken and beef satay just nice suitable for adult and kids. The bakso taste are good with generous 5-6 meetball…will i come again?….yes
Affordable and comforting food. This is were you can completed your indonesian craving. Auntie was so nice 😍
Authentic Sate Padang … both in its preparation and the sauce. The meat are cut in thin square slice, three per skewers. Lean meat are used. Mildly marinated and grilled using charcoal. In contrast to the typical Malaysian satay sauce which uses crushed groundnuts and are typically sweet with a pinch of spiciness, the Sate Padang mud brown sauce are thick and are ‘gurih’/savoury umami. Do give it a try.
They serves bakso too … 3 options, all served with noodles in soup:
– biasa (small meatballs)
– bakso beranak (mid size meatball with mini bakso and telur puyuh aka quail eggs within, hence the name ‘beranak’)
– bakso mercun (mid size bakso with smaller bakso and fresh chillies lava wrapped within)
Other stuff on the menu are Soto and Estabak (Indonesian version of ice kacang, similar but different)
Friendly and homely
Authentic sate minang. Taste exactly similar to the one in Indonesia. Price is cheap, RM5 per set plate.
