My all time favourite place for chicken rice. Always packed during lunch time but quality has never wavered. Priced have increased since I first went like 10 years ago but I’d say it’s well worth the price.
Service is always very fast. Would definitely recommend it 👌🏼
Food was below average. Chicken was dry, skin did not stick to the meat. Rice was on the bland side. Price is above average. 17 for siew yuk+ roasted pork mix. Siew yuk fell apart and was fatty.
A neighbourhood chicken rice shop. Often come here for dine in and take away. Chicken rice is good. Most love their ginger sauce!!!! Perfect combination with chicken rice. Without air cond, so may be hot if its a sunny day. Very recommended chicken rice.

With the prices of eating places skyrocketing of late, it is a nice surprise to find places like Shuang Siew that do not raise prices exorbitantly. Yes, prices have increased but still quite affordable. Hence the huge crowds you see here during lunch.
However, don’t expect any frills when eating here.
Ordered chicken n bbq pork for 3 person. Portion quite large. To m e, bbq pork are not that nice. Roast chicken is good. Rice taste so so. Overall is ok, acceptable. Didn’t manage to try the roast pork, finished. Price is reasonable
