12 October 2024: Second visit and finally got around to sharing. #tonkotsu #ramen was done very nicely – al dente and springy a springy bite. We would’ve preferred a heavier and more intense flavour with the broth. This is not a reflection of quality, just a matter of taste preference. Loved the stir-fried pork belly with a generous heap of garlic #buta #miso #itame. Dumpling #gyoza was good too. A bit more charred and it would have been perfect.

Overall good ramen fix. Slightly smaller portion than usual ramen shops. Had the Negi Miso Ramen. Slightly too much leek. Soup was thick and flavourful, can be overpowering depending on your preference. Gyozas were not too bad. Chewy and tasted healthy. Not too salty. Could have been fried slightly more.
Ample tables. Good space.
Good food, better than many other popular places like Ippudo and so on. The quality here is above standard, portion is perfect, only the price is a little on the high side. Also, the husband needs to be a little more chill when taking orders. By the way, I visit Japan often for my work, so these guys got it going right. Maybe they can add a small bowl of Japanese pickle at each table.
Pretty decent spot for some ramen. Food was good but would have liked more selection on the protein. Gyoza was very good, I’d recommend it if you’re a fan.
I absolutely enjoy eating here and have dined in several times. Delicious food and warm & courteous service from Ng & Ka Mun. My current favourite order is the Buta Don – caramelised pork belly over steamed rice. It’s on repeat for the past few visits of mine here. I used to order cold ramen often too. Their handmade ramen is springy and have a nice bite.
Another handmade item – Gyoza, is a must order for me each time I am here too.
It gets quite busy during peak lunch/dinner hours especially on weekends. You can call and make reservations ahead fortunately. It’s also a good quiet place for discussion or catching up during teatime as they have their concocted drinks, coffee, tea and desserts too. Generous portions, yummy food, reasonable prices, no service charge & no SST….Highly recommended!
