I saw a review of this place on social media and was interested in giving it a try. I have to say it is now one of my favourite Thai food spots! Their specialties include the Thai Style Steamed Seabass and Pork/Chicken Tom Yum. Both were really good and a lot better than many of the Thai restaurants I’ve been to. You can choose to have a family meal here or even a simple one for two people. The usual Thai street food offerings are here, from Pineapple Fried Rice to Pandan Chicken. The main selling point of this place is the pricing. Due to it being in a food court, it’s quite affordable, and for the food you get, it’s really worth it! If you like Thai street food or just Thai food in general, you’ll have to pay this joint a visit very soon. Highly recommended!
I recently swung by here for a quick lunch and decided to try their Thai Mama Tom Yum prawn noodles for RM15 a bowl. While I was hoping for a flavor explosion, it turned out to be more of a mild splash. The broth was creamy, but it lacked the zing that makes Tom Yum more memorable. The prawns were decent. Honestly, it felt like a bowl of noodles that needed a little more kick to really impress.
Places like this need more love and support from foodies or food lovers. I’ve eaten here several times, and the quality is like I’m at Bangkok. The mom & son team truly makes this Thai hawker stall one-of-a-kind.
Authentic taste, super reasonable price, RM40 for all styles of fish, ala-carte, it’s a complete deal here. They also sell Mookata! Come early, but please la, don’t bring the whole family of 6-8 people. This is a hawker food court. Tables are meant for 4 pax. 😁
It was my first time trying this stall at Mayang Oasis Food Court. They have plenty of choices of Thai food display in front of their stall. They all looked delicious. I tried their pineapple fried rice and the salted vegetables soup. Both tasted good. The helpings of the fried pineapple rice were rather big with pieces of pineapple, cashew nuts, pieces of meat sausage, meat, and topped with chicken floss. The salted vegetable soup had minced chicken paste in it. I think the food here is reasonably priced, as for RM40, you can get a fish dish.
Thai food at Mayang Oasis food court non halal section. It is occupying 4 lots which is the anchor of the food court. Food is great, selection is huge from fried rice, steam fish dishes to Mookata, they have it all. Service is really quick too though seems lots of orders.
