Good atmosphere to drink and dine. A very friendly male staff said to be from Bangladesh. Good service from the staff. However certain food ordered may need to step up….examples gambas al ajillo was too spicy but the chef replaced it. Sanghar aglio olio has burnt prawns.
Been a while since we visited the BARN in Midvalley ( I’ve been calling that place “ my library” due to its renovation 😂😂😂😂). Today we stumbled into the one in Starling Mall and it was not what I’ve expected!!. We were strolling around looking for a place to have lunch and the usual places just did not struck our fancies. However their “RM 18” lunch banner happened to caught our eyes and we decided to give it a try. Well I can just summarized it as it’s definitely worth our time!! The portion was rather generous and when it’s free flow of soft drinks that came with the set lunch, it was attractive. I had their popular grilled chicken chop ( served with mixed blanched veggies and mash potatoes) and I must say it’s surely was mouthwatering and tasty. The grill must be charcoal based as the charring was just superb. My lovely wife decided on fish and chips which was also superb. Juicy and I’m very sure it was not tilapia!!!. The crunchy crust was just in the right proportion and the tar tar sauce was just nice and not overpowering!! My verdict is a two thumbs up 👍👍. Definitely coming back for the ibirrico pork burger 😂😂😂😂
Actually I’m a new person in Malaysia. Today I had a lunch in the barn . The food was so delicious specially soup of day 😋. Service was very good , Carol and Gello are very friendly. I passed my best lunch with the barn . Thank you so much Caron and team the barn starling make my day happy and enjoyful.I will come again with my friends.
A fantastic environment with exceptional service. An ideal spot for a relaxing lunch or dinner gathering, complete with drinks. Perfect for family get-togethers. The food is outstanding, especially the roast pork and satay. Highly recommended!
Went on a weekday and tried out the lunch menu. Comes with soup of the day and soft drink or upgrade to coffee/tea. Had the Hainanese chicken chop, which was okay, the gravy was not too salty. Came with very pale fries and a piece of lettuce. The potato soup was extremely salty, tasted tinned. I had the coffee, which was very bitter. Still, the meal was value for money. And the service was good. Am eager to try out the Hawaiian pizza or the burger.
