Nice place for Balkan food. Loved their mixed meat platter and the mixed seafood platter. Their salads are scrumptious too. All my 15 family members enjoyed our lunch here.
Had the Ottoman Lamb stew, Vine leaf wrapped rice and the Turkish olive salad.
Both the lamb and wrapped vine leaf were delicious but found the Turkish salad a bit too sweet for our taste. Could be a bit over load of honey for the seasoning.
The restaurant is inside the building making the place seems a bit too formal. Would be even more authentic and cosy with a alfresco setting.
We went out to celebrate a birthday and stumbled upon this unique cuisine when research was done.
The shop is spacious enough to accommodate a small party (see video) with a buffet table, while housing individual tables still.
We tried the Bey Soup (cream based with yogurt and duck cubes); Potkriza (sliced bread with beef stew) which is a chef’s special; the Ottoman roasted lamb and the codfish. To top it off, we had the Tufahija which is a Bosnian dessert, made of poached walnut-stuffed apple.
It was a very delicious and satisfying meal. I would recommend anyone wanting to try Balkan cuisine to come here.
Only thing is no alcohol is served.
The food and service was really good! You can savour Eastern Europe dishes without even travelling there! The food even tasted nicer than the ones I ate in Bosnia! Chef Bezzart is really a good cook, the atmosphere is so good that it brings you the feel of being at Eastern Europe itself! Beef goulash was really delicious and so are the other dishes and Muslim friendly place!👍👍👍
Had dinner here with friends , big serving of food , recommended lamb stew ( soft and tender) by the host and it was good . Service was attentive and nice , just when come to billing time it took a very long time .
