December 2024: I thoroughly enjoyed the Thai cuisine here. The service was excellent, with the staff being incredibly helpful and attentive. The menu pricing was reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food and service. Among the three of us, we ordered a variety of rice dishes and noodles, and each one was delicious. The minced pork dish is highly recommended. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced. I will definitely come back for sure!

Good setup, comfortable and cosy
We discovered this restaurant by chance and ordered the braised whole pork trotter, which was surprisingly tender and flavorful. The basil minced pork and mooping (grilled skewers) were equally delicious. The highlight was the special mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream, simply yummy! Overall, we wouldn’t mind returning to try their tom yam and Thongcai nachos salsa next time.
My go-to comfort food. Fusion Thai Western food. I always get the same food Pad Kee Mao and fried pork belly. The pad Kee mao is flavourful with the right blend of spiciness. Better than most I’ve tried ever. The pork belly is also delicious 🤝🤲 my wife thinks I have problem always get same thing but those 2 are the best. Pork noodle is MEH so disappointing.
Staff always very friendly here. Place is beautifully decorated. But sometimes we get the seat have big industrial fan blow at us. Wife hair fly everywhere.
Tommy Thongchai is a great Thai food place that has a very unique menu. They have branded themselves as an urban-Thai styled restaurant, and the menu reflects that. There are Western and Asian food options, and having sampled both types, I have to say that they’re quite good. The usual Thai food offerings are there, from Seafood Tom Yum to Grilled Pork. The main selling point is the price. Almost all their dishes are priced below RM20. Although their portions are small, they are worth it. So, do prepare to order a few things when you’re here. Overall, very recommended!
