We’ve been patronizing Unique Seafood for years for annual dinners and special occasions. While it’s on the pricier side, the live seafood selection and quality have always been a highlight.

✔ The live seafood options never disappoint.
✔ Ordered snow crab but received Indonesian crab instead—an unexpected change.
📌 Service & Order Accuracy:
❌ This time, our order was handled by a different person—we usually order from a male captain, but since this lady assisted with our room booking, my colleague felt it was best to continue with her.
❌ However, some details were missed—our order wasn’t reconfirmed, leading to the wrong crab being served.
❌ Steamed nian gao was expected, but fried nian gao was served, with conflicting explanations about the menu rotation.
❌ To be fair, she did apologize for the mix-up.
💡 Flexibility & Customer Service:
✔ A big plus—they kindly allowed us to use our booked private room at 4 PM for a company presentation before dinner, despite the restaurant’s evening opening time at 5:30 PM. This flexibility is much appreciated, even with the extra fee.

A Festive Feast and Culinary Triumph at Unique Seafood PJ23
Our recent company Christmas dine-in at Unique Seafood PJ23 was nothing short of spectacular, a true testament to their culinary prowess and exceptional service. We were pleasantly surprised to find they had already begun offering their Chinese New Year Lou Sang, and the medium portion we shared was absolutely delicious – a vibrant and flavorful start to our meal.
The culinary journey began with a platter of incredibly fresh geoduck, a delightful indicator of the restaurant’s commitment to quality seafood. This was followed by steamed tiger prawns that were cooked to perfection, earning rave reviews from everyone at the table. The grilled lamb was another highlight, tender and expertly seasoned, showcasing the chef’s skill. The chicken with their signature sauce, while a classic, was executed with finesse and proved to be a crowd-pleaser.
The seafood extravaganza continued with a perfectly steamed fish, crispy fried squid, and two crab dishes that truly stole the show: the sweet and sour chili crab and the salted egg crab. Both were cooked to perfection, with the flavors harmonizing beautifully. Even the fried rice was exceptional, a testament to the attention to detail throughout the meal.
And let’s not forget the desserts, which provided a sweet and satisfying conclusion to our feast.

Fresh and flavorful seafood with a wide variety of choices, from local favorites to exotic options. The dishes are well-prepared and served promptly. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and taste make it worth it. A great spot for seafood lovers!
One of the few halal chinese restaurants that feels chinese, came here for CNY dinner. Went with the ~RM1.6k set for 10. Overall the food was okay, bit pricey, but I suppose it’s similar price for CNY banquet dinners of similar ambience. Added on a mapo tofu dish which I thought was pretty subpar for the price tag of RM60.
Parking situation is not ideal. Parking spots below the building are very limited, and almost the same price as valet (RM6 vs RM9), so might as well opt for valet. Can park further down the road in the open air carpark, but the price is almost similar to the valet …
