Amazing service and the perfect dinner spot to bring your own wines!
14 October, 2023: Not familiar with fine-dining dishes, I won’t make too much comments about the food. It was a bespoke menu, and we had Irish Oyster, Fish Maw, assorted Unagi Sushi, Tientsin cabbage, Iberico pork, vermicelli noodles, roasted black sesame lava and yuzu sorbet. From a taste perspective, I liked it a lot. Most of the dishes had very balanced tastes without being overpoweringly heavy, so one can taste the various ingredients and freshness. If I had to point it, it’s the Iberico pork which was a a little too sweet for my palate. Otherwise the entire dining experience was superb and nothing short of memorable. The staff and servers were top-notch – special shout-out to Edison and Fais (sorry if I spelled your names wrong) for the super service.
A restaurant with a very interesting concept utilising kitchen resources from it’s various sister restaurants to curate customised menus for its patrons. This encompasses various cuisines ranging from French to Thai to Chinese.
My friend was specifically looking for a gluten free course and they were happy to accommodate despite the last minute reservation. The food served was a Chinese and Japanese fusion and tasted absolutely delicious despite having to make substitutions to their usual preparation.
My favourites were the halibut, perfectly cooked with glistening flesh and crispy skin, paired with a wonderfully umami dashi broth; and the beef main, charbroiled to a perfect tenderness and juiciness.
Fine dining prices, but quality mediocre. The desserts are not bad – but the savoury food are all terrible and very much overpriced. Pasta almost RM40 per plate for really tiny portions (fine dining price?) but serving on the cheap Ikea plates. I’m very much confused. Nevertheless, I would go back because of their desserts only, and the service is very friendly. Just felt I’ve been ripped off by the savoury choices.
