Mediocre food. Food prep can be vastly improved.
Doneness of meats were served not as requested. Vegetables were slightly undercooked as well. The table next to us had to turn back their marrow an astonishingly 2 times as it was undercooked. Fortunately, ours was fine.
Truffles and caviar served on our marrow was sub-par, almost tasteless when ingredients like these are meant to be a party in the mouth.
Overpriced and overrated. The only recommended dish we ordered was the crab cakes.
Went on Valentine’s day with my partner.
Had high expectations but was definitely met with some disappointments.
Beef carpaccio was decent but would only recommend if it’s your first time having beef carpaccio as you can definitely find tastier at cheaper prices.
Loved the lobster bisque, very flavourful and very affordable
HIGHLY RECOMMEND their aged duck breast with a side of foie gras and grapes. Everything on the plate is cooked to perfection and everything paired so well together. Very worth the price too.
Quite disappointed by the steak (and considering this is a steakhouse).
There is a minimum order of 500g for the steak though price on the menu is shown per 100g.
We had asked for recommendations from the staff regarding the different types but they were not able to properly inform us of the difference or uniqueness of each type, only able to describe it as “more juicy and flavourful etc.) Considering it being a steakhouse and the prices, would prefer a more personal approach when it comes to assistance with ordering and recommending different types of beef.
We ordered the spanish beef ribeye and the meat was really tough and chewy. Overheard the customer beside our table complaining that their steak was undercooked as the middle looked very rare (they ordered medium rare). Ours were the same but I personally prefer my medium rare to be on the rarer side so I did not mind it at all. Just a side note for those who may not like their medium rare on the rarer side!
We were able to feedback to the staff prior to leaving that the meat was on the tougher side, and we were told that the spanish beef is. mature beef so it is only normal that it is on the tougher side. Would have wanted to know of this prior to ordering instead 😅😅
Bonus:
Noticed their use of Damascus steak knife which really elevated the experience of cutting into meats! Rarely see this in Malaysia’s steak house as well.

Been coming to this place quite often to dine as the food was always as amazing as their service!
Staffs were very friendly and attentive! The manager always came to check on us from time to time and always gave us detailed information about the different steaks and cuts.
And they also have the best cheesecake in town! MUST TRY!

Food is really good. The medium rare steak is juicy, thick, perfectly seasoned & melts-in-your-mouth good. It comes with 2 types of sauce & a small helping of salt – was offered some mustard as well. The sides portion was large – ordered the brocollini, home made fries, creamy spinach & mixed mushrooms. All very tasty. Service is good too – they are all attentive & we were served very quickly.
I recently visited Vantador with my boyfriend, and while the food and ambiance were great, there were some issues with the portion sizes. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the quality of the food was excellent – the steak delicious.
However, I was shocked when my order arrived – an almost 800g steak, which is more suited for three people than one! Unfortunately, the server didn’t mention the portion size when we ordered, nor did they ask if it was suitable for one person. My boyfriend had ordered his own steak, so we ended up with far more food than we could finish.
It would be much better if the staff took the time to inform customers about the portion sizes, especially for dishes that are unexpectedly large. While we enjoyed the experience overall, we would have appreciated better communication from the staff to avoid unnecessary waste.
If you’re visiting, be sure to ask about portion sizes beforehand!
