It’s like walking into an 80s diner, the decor and overall feel is sketchy. But the food came and that was nice. Tried the pasta and the chicken, both were nice. Price is reasonable, staff friendly. But the owner really needs to renovate the place, and please clean the glass windows.
Interior exudes a homey kitchen vibe which is comforting but the food quality has dropped a notch… The mushroom soup and spaghetti Olio was a tad too salty.
This shop has been around the Damansara Jaya
neighbourhood for quite a number of years and quite popular among the locals. Come here for simple, no nonsense western food minus the noise and crowd. The decor is simple and lighting is dim. Here is where simple food made good.
After being recommend a few times, I had my first visit to this establishment with a few friends. We ordered the following:
– Spaghetti and Meatballs
– Chicken Chop and Spaghetti (Me)
– Fish and Butter Rice
– Mushroom Soup
I can’t say much for my friends’ orders but from the look on their faces they definitely enjoyed it! As for me, the chicken chop was absolutely amazing, it was fresh and juicy! The black pepper sauce wasn’t too strong and was not artificial, the garlic and herbs pasta was perfect in every way.
Service was absolutely stunning, as one of my friends accidentally spilled his bowl of mushroom soup it was immediately replaced with another bowl without extra charge!! Bravo 👏👏👏
First time visit to no frills, unpretentious restaurant serving local-style western food reminiscent of the 80’s.
Ordered grilled chicken chop and pork schnitzel. Very filling portions! Consistent with other reviews.
Tender chicken drenched in sauce, served with very flavorful pasta and fries. The sauce and pasta were quite salty, would have been more balanced if one of it were less salty.
Pleasantly surprised the tender pork schnitzel was almost double the size I was expecting, the portion was so long it jutted out of the plate.
Ribena with lychee was refreshing, a little too sweet, have to wait for the ice to melt.
Servers were quick to respond and polite.
Overall good experience, will come again to try more dishes.
