WARTEK – A Great Spot for Indonesian Cuisine!
I recently visited WARTEK, and I was pleasantly surprised. The prices are moderate, making it accessible for regular visits. What stood out to me was the sambal; despite its appearance with lots of chili, it wasn’t overly spicy, which is perfect for someone like me who can’t handle too much heat. This means you can enjoy the authentic Indonesian flavors without the intense burn.
The ambiance is also noteworthy. The music is kept at a comfortable level, making it suitable for both casual dates and business meetings where you need to have a conversation.
Overall, WARTEK provides a great dining experience with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Nasi uduk + lontong = ❤️. The taste is very close to the one in Indonesia, i would say 8/10.
Food is good overall, but they miss some orders when it gets really crowded. 2 out of 3 times i went there, they missed my orders.
Wartek in Ara Damansara is an absolute gem for authentic Indonesian cuisine! The food here is incredibly clean, hygienic, and full of the original flavors I know and love, as someone from Jakarta. Every dish is prepared with great attention to taste and quality. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. My personal favorites are the nasi uduk, lontong sayur, and bebek Madura—they are simply amazing and remind me of home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine Indonesian flavors!
The bebek was good, the rice was good. The sate sauce was healthy. I appreciated that, but the grilled meat lacked flavour. They forgot one of our orders and some orders came late. It was expected after reading the reviews that it happens during peak hours. The rojak was more spicy than flavourful and quite pricey for that portion.
Most of the food we ordered were pretty salty. Not for those with weak hearts. Food is interesting and tasty but it’s just too salty. Service was average, many things needed to reminded and self service as staff seem to be missing.
