Delicious food & drinks. However it can be quite noisy during peak hours. One of the male staff forgot our order and didn’t key in, so we waited quite long before checking with another female staff. She apologized and help to expedite our order which was a nice gesture
You came here for reviews and suggestions on what to order. Okay, we came in as a party of 4 adults, 1 kid and 1 baby. On sharing basis (to try a variety of things), we ordered:
1. YBR Fish & Chips. It’s fried British style and they used tilapia fillet. My daughter liked it. See video.
2. Big Breakfast Bash. Serviceable, but order it if you want something like this. It’s not that it’s not great, but there’s better food on the menu.
3. Balik Kampung. Huge ayam percik, whole leg chicken. Cooked until tender with generous amount of kuah (gravy). When shared, it’s not filling despite the huge protein and carb (turmeric rice) portions. Nice!
4. Beyond the Sea. Nice pasta dish with generous asari clams (lala). Topped with tasty prawn bisque. Tiger prawns were batter fried, and nice as well. Not bad, and it’s one of Yellow Brick Road (YBR)’s recommended dishes.
5. YBR Tiramisu. Oh wow! This is one of their specialty desserts and it’s a crowd-pleaser. Do it! Order it! (contains coffee).
6. Onde-onde Pancakes. If you like a twist on local flavours, get this. I’m not sure if pandan was used as I was focused on other food on the table. But presentation and taste memang sah (legit). Grated coconut, caramelised banana, DIY poured-over palm sugar (gula Melaka) makes this on par with the Tiramisu.
7. French Toast. No pictures as we needed to settle the kid in first. But it’s okay, bread was thick and with vanilla bean ice cream. Not bad, but overshadowed by others in the menu.
Overall, good atmosphere, good service and most importantly good food. Price? It’s subjective but if you’re here for an experience I think it’s money well-spent. To fill up tummy alone, wrong place la. Cheers!
First time coming here, the food doesn’t disappoint. Really love the taste of everything. And not to mention the portion is very huge and suitable with the price.
This place is known with the Tiramisu and as a Tiramisu lover i can say that it is living up to its popularity! Not too sweet and the coffee taste also just nice 🥹. I haven’t found tiramisu that can beat this one!
And i went to this restaurant again to get my breakfast. As i mentioned, the portion is also huge! Can share with 2 people.
Overall, me and my friend were satisfied with the foods and the service!
Yellow Brick Road is such a cozy and welcoming spot! The ambiance is super chill, and the servers are really friendly and attentive. There are waiter name is monju who are especially amazing. Always has a bright smile and makes sure your order is perfect, while is super quick and always ready with great recommendations. It’s a great place to relax or catch up with friends. the food is also very good ! Definitely worth a visit!
The tiramisu is delicious and looks cute👌 you can add on alcohol(extra charge). The food lightly seasoning. Abit too light for my craving 🫢 but okay la. Feel healthy.
